he's right, but I get the Impression that Inman is just a Contrarian, in that he gets more views and more people nod their head if he goes against the status que in his typical humor. Lots of historical people that made history were dicks...that's the world they lived in, just like lots of important people today are dicks...cause that's what it takes (though humanity is slightly more prized now than it was then). I like the oatmeal, but its getting too preachy for me.

I saw someone point out that we already have an alternate holiday to Columbus Day called Indigenous Peoples Day, but The Oatmeal would have trouble selling t-shirts for that, so he's trying to recreate his Tesla obsession with this Bartolome guy.
